Jade 2 Text is a standalone program that takes extracted JADE code and produces a readable format that can be displayed with a standard code comparison tool. Jade 2 Text understands the JADE code formats and presents the information in these files so that the code changes are highlighted and the changes that don’t relate to code are hidden.
Jade 2 Text allows a developer to easily identify:
- Changes to existing classes, methods, and forms
- New classes, methods, and forms
- Deleted classes, methods and forms
- Debug code that should not be included in a production system
- Changes made by different developers for different reasons
Jade 2 Text works in conjunction with a tool such as Araxis Merge or WinMerge to compare versions of JADE code.
